Our Story

After many out of town trips to purchase fireplace and stove related equipment, we decided to open a stove and fireplace store that would service and sell in the beautiful western mountains of Maine. Our mission is to find the best products suited to our customers heating needs, aesthetic goals and pocketbooks. Purchasing an appliance we can provide numerous services including installation of gas stoves and fireplaces. We work with local craftsmen to enhance installations with custom stone work, mantels and surrounds. Our service techs are nationally certified by the National Fireplace Institute and are also licensed to pipe the property for gas and connect to a propane gas system. Other dealers are sometimes under qualified or unlicensed to perform the work required to connect the unit to the homes present gas system and install the piping for a new system. This additional knowledge and licensing provides our customers with one stop shopping rather trying to coordinate two or more contractors. We carry a complete line of gas, wood and pellet stoves as well as inserts and fireplaces. You will find hearth accessories such as fireplace tools, andirons, ash buckets and wood holders as well as products to restore or repair your current wood or gas stove.
